HOW CAN I HELP SUPPORT THIS CAUSE?
Help A Basset By Being A Buddy
Now you can still help a dog even if you can't adopt one. How? By joining the Buddy program. This program allows you to sponsor a specific Basset Hound for the time it is in a foster home or as a continuous monthly donation to help any GABR Basset. Become a Basset Buddy by pledging a minimum of $25.00 as a monthly donation on behalf of a dog that you wish to sponsor. (Or if you wish to make a one-time donation, we ask that it is a minimum of $25.00--the cost to foster a basset for one month.)

Just pick a dog that you'd like to lend a helping hand to and let us know which one you picked and we will place your name next to the homeless Basset of your choice. We sure would appreciate any help that you can lend to these dogs in need. You'll feel better too that you could help one out.

Make a Basset's day and be a Buddy! You can sponsor the Basset by VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, check, or money order. If you wish to donate with your credit card online, click on the link that says: "Be this Basset's Buddy." That link will open a window to a form. The form is connected via a secured server. Fill out the form completely as necessary.

If you'd like to mail a check or money order to join our Buddies Program, please send it with this information:

  • Your name and address.
  • If you'd like your donation to be a continuous monthly donation, a one-time donation, or for the length of time a specific basset is in GABR's care.
  • Let us know whether or not you want to include your name and if you wish to include your City/State of residence information in with the Buddy listing.
  • If you want to include a comment, please let us know what you'd like to include in with the Basset Buddy listing.
