Jimmy was rescued from a kill shelter at the age of 2.  He is now 9y/o and his owner passed
away and found himself at yet another shelter.  This time he was lucky enough to have
Guardian Angel Basset Rescue come and rescue him.

When he got to his foster home, poor Jimmy was so sad and confused.   But as he settles in
he is becoming more accustomed to his new surroundings and his personality is shining
thru.  It will take a couple of weeks for him to adjust to his forever home as well.  He is a little
on the hefty side and needs to lose a few pounds.  He has been working on this by going on
walks at his foster home.   He enjoys meeting the neighbors and other dogs and he greets
everyone with a wonderful basset bark.
Jimmy enjoys being outside and will be happy just to sit in the grass and watch the world go
by.    He hasn’t shown much interest in toys or playing with his foster sibling.   Jimmy has
perfect manners in the house, and will let you know when he needs to go out.  He is a sweet
dog that has a lot of love to give and only asks for love in return and the occasional belly
rubs.  He will make a great addition to a very lucky family.
