Peanut is a healthy, energetic 3 1/2 year old big boy. He weighs in at around 65lbs., but
isn't fat by any means. His foster mom says his paws are the size of the entire palm of her
hand. He's house trained, crate trained, and is loving all of the attention he's getting with
his training sessions. Loves ear rubs, his new food, and LOVES treats and toys.

He gets along well with the other bassets, and medium sized dogs, but wouldn't
recommend him being placed with extremely small dogs. He doesn't get along well with
cats, but does well with children of all ages. Due to his size, and his youthful exuberance,
his foster mom wouldn't recommend him to a home with extremely small children, as he
gets to playing and could accidentally knock them down.  He's doing well with his leash
training, but definitely needs a securely fenced in yard to play in. Peanut is looking for a
forever home with hearts big enough to hold this big boy.
