HOW CAN I HELP SUPPORT THIS CAUSE?
More ways you can help:
Providing Veterinarian Care
We would be interested in anyone who can render veterinarian services for Bassets that need that extra special care because of illness or other health condition that warrants attention.

You may also e-mail GABR to notify us.

We'd even be appreciative if you can provide reduced rates on your services. If you can donate these services from time to time, that would be appreciated very much.
Monetary Donations
Donations in the form of money orders, checks, and credit cards are always welcome. Since this is the most flexible type of support, any donation of this type is welcome and will be put to good use to further the Basset Hound rescue operation here at GABR.

Donations of Office Supplies, Computer And Printer Supplies
We do have some office supply needs from time to time. Also, since we try to take advantage of some of the modern tools of today like computers and printers, we can always use printer paper and ink cartridges. Otherwise we have to use our funds to buy the necessary supplies that go into maintaining the paper work and mailing lists.

Other Recommendations & Ideas
Here are some other things that you can do to help GABR:
  • Put together a raffle for a special event to benefit the Rescue Operation.
  • Place an ad in the newspaper describing the GABR organization.
  • Have bumper stickers made that display GABR's Internet address: http://www.bassetrescue.com. It could say something like "Save The Basset Hound, Support Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Inc., www.bassetrescue.com".
  • Get the word out. If opportunity arises, let people know about GABR and give them this URL. To make things even simpler for you, we've set up an email form that will send a standard message to anyone that you want so that they can take a look and possibly find their new pet Basset if they are looking for one or if they'd be interested in helping GABR in some other way. You may also customize the message by adding in your own message along with the standard message being sent.

Go to the e-mailer. It's simple!

  • One last thing. You can help GABR too by buying your book from Amazon.com. We get a small commission from each book sold from direct referrals from our site.
