    Duck is an 8 y/o classic basset boy: low to the ground, long in the ears, and rich in personality. His soulful eyes can convince you of almost anything—especially if you happen to be holding a snack. In fact, Duck firmly believes that food is one of life’s greatest love languages. Treats? Yes, please. Kibble? Absolutely. The crinkle of a chip bag from three rooms away? He’s already on his way.

    But Duck isn’t just about snacks (though he’d prefer if you thought he was). He’s a professional snuggler, a couch connoisseur, and a champion napper. His favorite place to be is wherever his people are—preferably draped across a soft blanket, resting his velvety head on your lap like it was made just for that purpose.

    Duck does have alopecia, which means he’s rocking a little less fur than your average hound. But he wears it well. His smooth, patchy coat just means more warm skin for cuddles and more personality shining through.
